Joyce Wagster, Country/Gospel Artist started this foundation in 2005. Having been raised in a home with a father addicted to substance abuse, Joyce and her family dealt with verbal/emotional abuse as well as nightly violent behavior. Living in constant turmoil, fear and financial distress, Joyce has a heart for children who are facing situations beyond their control.

Joyce’s love for singing came at an early age when her mother put her on stage at the age of four to sing for the Veterans at the VA Hospital in Columbia, SC. She found refuge in music throughout the years which also helped her in the healing process of her childhood.

The Foundation was named after a very special little boy by the name of...Adam Turner.
Adam was a vibrant, loving child who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June of 2004. After chemo and brain surgeries he was given a clean bill of health in early 2005. Adam loved country music and his favorite song to sing was “Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw. Each time he captured the hearts of those who heard him. In May 2005 another tumor was diagnosed and this time it was inoperable. Adam lost his battle with brain cancer on September 10th, 2005, he was only six years old.
