Future Goals
Begin fund raising for more research dedicated to finding a cure for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), or brain stem cancer.
This type of tumor is highly aggressive, highly malignant, treatment resistant and recurrent. This is an exceedingly rare form of terminal cancer that mostly affects children between the ages of 4-10 years old. Although there is a very small chance that radiation helps, the prognosis remains poor. There are only about 200 cases diagnosed each year. Due to the diffuse nature of the cancer there are no surgical options, and current chemotherapies have been found to be ineffective. With treatment, the median survival rate is less than 12 months. The chance of continued survival beyond 1 year is less than 8%. These types of tumors usually begin re-growth 6-9 months after radiation so we need your continued prayers for children with this particular cancer. This type tumor is treatment resistant and recurrent. We need more funding for more research to bring an end to this!

Building or obtaining a building for the ATF Headquarters which will include space to bring in children from the shelters. The shelter will provide music and dance therapy in the Fine Arts. This program will also include children with illnesses who can attend classes by permission of their physician.

Motivational Programs offered by Joyce...
Joyce Wagster, Founder of the Adam Turner Foundation, knows all to well the affects that violence and substance abuse has on children in the home. She has also seen first hand the need to reach out to families who are dealing with a very sick child. Joyce speaks to women in shelters as well as churches, women's conferences, corporate events, prisons, chamber meetings, rotary clubs, hospitals, etc. Music provided by Joyce is Christ filled as well as positive message country songs she grew up singing from artists like Connie Francis, Teresa Brewer, Benda Lee and Patsy Cline.

To book Joyce for an event, please contact Stacy Robinson at stacy@therobinsonagency.com or call Stacy at 1.800.782.2995.

Music - Joyce has recently written two original songs she hopes to record to help bring more awareness to the continued problem with child abuse and the need to reach out to families dealing with very sick children. The songs are entitled "A Voice For Our Kids!" and "If My Daddy Could Hear Me Sing".
